Why can't I edit or review sections after submitting?

In general you should be able to edit and review sections while you are working on a return. Once a return has been submitted, it is locked and cannot be changed. At that point you must create a duplicate return if you need to correct or amend anything.

• After submission, the original return is locked.

• To change a submitted return, use the duplicate and amendment approach described above.
